Quorum Allotment bursts back into life this Spring

Our volunteer open day celebrated the start of a great summer for the Quorum Allotment.

After a rather wet and windy start to our allotment open days in March, April’s allotment open day enjoyed sunshine and new shoots with over 100 new seeds and bulbs planted.

April’s theme was Pea Teepees and saw volunteers stringing up supports for our pea, broad bean and runner bean plugs.
All grown from seed in our new polytunnel. In fact in the case of our runner beans, the beans were saved from last years harvest so are true Quorum plants!

Interested in getting involved in the Quorum Allotment? Here’s how!

Our allotment open days take place on the last Tuesday of every month.

Check out details below for upcoming themes

Tuesday 23rd May, Planting for Pollinators
Tuesday 27th June, Pumpkin Plant out
Tuesday 25th July, Cut Flower Workshop
Tuesday 29th August, Summer Harvest Celebration
