The Impact Network from Venture Zero is known for turning serious business topics into sessions that are warm, engaging and genuinely enjoyable, and this one's no different. In celebration of World Mental Health Day, we're bringing Quorum Business Park together to explore what good mental health support looks like at work. This year's World Mental Health Day theme is “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change” - reflected in real stories and practical takeaways you can take straight back to your team.
What's happening
Date: 14th October
Time: 11.30am - 12.30pm session, followed by the Red Bench unveil at the Events Cabin, wrapping up around 1.15pm

Over lunch, we'll hear:
● The launch of Q Minds our new interactive network for mental health and wellbeing reps across site.
● Wayne Groves, founder of The Red Bench Project, sharing his own lived experience with mental health struggles and suicidal thoughts, and how that experience inspired him to start the charity
● After the session, join us at the Events Cabin for the launch of a Red Bench on Quorum Business Park - a lasting, visible reminder that it's good to talk, and okay to ask someone if they're okay

This event is about more than one stage and one story. We're inviting other businesses, on Quorum Park and beyond, to get involved by sharing either:
● Lived experience of mental health struggles, in the workplace or beyond, or
● Best practice - what your organisation is doing to support colleagues' mental health and wellbeing
Whether that's a few words on the day, a short contribution beforehand, or simply showing up to be part of the conversation, every voice helps reduce stigma and shows people it's okay to talk.
