This month

The topic this month is Time to Connect: Why workplace connection is more important than ever, and what you can do to improve it, hosted by Di, founder of Connection Heroes. A powerful new learning community with an audacious goal : to unleash the power of human connection in workplaces across the world.

You will learn:

Di and her team, after completing a pilot program with over 60 learners across five organisations, will share exclusive insights into:

  • Why human connection is critical for both people and profit.

  • The obstacles that inhibit connection, some of which may surprise you.

  • The mindset, skillset, and toolset required to forge stronger connections.

Di will facilitate a hands-on exercise to help you design "Connection Rituals" that you can implement within your teams to foster a culture of connection.

The session will be particularly beneficial for professionals who are:

  • Seeking leadership buy-in for a more human-centric culture or employee experience strategy.

  • Aiming to embed a culture that attracts and retains the best talent.

  • Supporting managers in maintaining connected and engaged hybrid teams.

  • Looking to improve communication and collaboration both within and across departments.

  • Focused on keeping teams positive and engaged during periods of rapid growth or change.

Workshop Experience:

Expect a dynamic mix of basic neuroscience, real-life remote working challenges, and practical innovation techniques. This session is designed to inspire, inform, and most importantly, connect attendees.

About Di:

Over 15 years ago, Di sold her stake in a bustling city-centre creative agency to establish Stick Theory, a groundbreaking virtual collaboration agency with no permanent staff and fully remote freelance teams. Her approach—combining Agile project management, human-centered design, radical transparency, and effective digital tool use—proved successful. Di has since evolved this model, integrating insights from organisational psychology to form Connection Heroes, aiming to transform workplace connections worldwide.
