Awareness is vital, but real change comes when we take action too.
This Mental Health Awareness Week, we are encouraging you to take action for good mental health - for yourself, for someone else, and for all of us.

Good mental health doesn’t come from gimmicks or unproven wellness trends, but through everyday acts of care. That includes both self-care and caring for others.  

This year’s theme is Action: When greater numbers of us take action, communities of motivated people are laying the foundations for a society that prioritises good mental health. This is action at its most powerful.

Action Planning Drop in Session : Wednesday 13th May

Location: Q11 Breakout Space - all day

Drop into the Q11 breakout space to utilise a selection of handy tools to help take action on at least one thing that will boost your own wellbeing, others around us, and make individual actions for our society and environment.

Wear it Green Day - Thursday 14th May

Location : Head along to Q11 breakout space for a tea & talk session from 11am - 2pm

On Thursday 14th May, we are participating the nationwide event - Wear it Green Day.

Conversation cards, Mental Health local resources, and more action planning tips - Plus some light refreshments! Feel free to bring along your Lunch too, so you don’t have to eat at your desk.

Office dog Sulley will also be here to give some cuddles in return for belly rubs!

Free Connect 5 Wellbeing Training - for your office

Connect 5 is a workforce training programme that has been created to upskill non-mental health specialists to better understand and feel confident to have everyday conversations about mental health and wellbeing in their everyday encounters.

Our events Manager, Claire is qualified to facilitate the Connect 5 training programme, in person, and online. If this would be of interest to your workplace, email claire.lusk@quorumpark.com for more information, and to book in your free bespoke training package.

Wellbeing walks - Throughout May

May also marks National Walking month, so we’ve also added some dates to the calendar to join the Hub team on a weekly lunch-time stroll around the park, utilising the interactive wildlife map, and showcasing our green spaces, perfect for taking a step out of the office, and getting some welcomed fresh air.

Take a look at the dates below, and RSVP on the Quorum Park app, we anticipate each walk to be around 30mins long.

  • Wednesday 6th May from Q11 @ 12.30pm

  • Tuesday 12th May from the Events Plaza @ 1pm

  • Tuesday 19th May from outside Circo Italian @ 12.30pm

  • Thursday 28th May from outside Q12 Water Fountain @ 1pm
