Deaf Awareness Training

There will be 2 x 45 min sessions of basic Deaf Awareness and it is recommended that these sessions are attended prior to attending the British Sign Language Taster sessions which will cover: Deaf Identify, Language and Culture.

These will take place in our Q11(Rimba Raya) Meeting Room on:

Tuesday 9th September at 12.30pm till 1.15 pm - Deaf Awareness Part 1

Tuesday 16th September at 12.30pm till 1.15 pm - Deaf Awareness Part 2

There will be a further four sessions of British Sign Language Taster sessions and these will cover;

greetings (fingerspelling), numbers, colours, and weather. All will be taught visually. It is recommended that all participants attend all the sessions to get the maximum benefit. If you cannot attend one of more of the sessions, please identify which ones on the booking form highlighted below.
